The word NELUMBO comes from the generic name of an aquatic flower – Lotus which grows out in pond water and signifies the beauty and purity. The same is the main theme of this company.
Nelumbo is a great start-up in the world of food and hospitality service which ensures complete dignity in terms of taste, quality, quantity, service plan and execution in perfectly healthy environment by skilled hands. The need for the formation of this company was the need of hour.
Purpose of this start up
It can be query of many, in the present Covid-19 pandemic situation, where hotels and restaurants are getting closed or being ineffective and unproductive, then why Nelumbo? So, it is the critical need of the hour where the office going people have utmost demand of readymade food packets or tiffins which could be purely hygienic, healthy and homemade. Nelumbo is going to fulfill all these requirements and ready to serve to all those needful.
The foundation
This new start-up has been registered with UDYAM as Micro Enterprise under the MSME.
Nelumbo has come up from the passionate hands of Mr. Niraj Kumar Sinha and Mrs. Archana Sinha, a couple who has always been motivated, inspired and dedicated for food and hospitality. Not only they supported each other in every steps of life as being a life partner, but also they showed zeal and passion towards this field and registered this company to fulfill their long awaited desire. And now, with all their knowledge, skills, passion, dedication and enthusiasm, they are standing together as active partners.

DirectorNiraj Kumar Sinha, one of our active and diligent partner who has been the part of hospitality industry for more than 28 years. With all his knowledge and operational skills has come up now as an independent hand to nurture up this new venture. Looking back about his professional experiences, he started his professional career as a professional Chef with proper training and formal Hotel Management Education. He has been into top key position at some of the prominent hotels at National as well as International level. Few of the brand associations were Le Meridien, Best Western, Oberoi, Clarks, Ramoji Group (Dolphin Hotels), Kenilworth, St. Laurn, Everest Hotel (KTM) TGB, and more.
